Ibah was born April 10, 1900 in Texas. She married Henry Lee Beasley on Oct 7, 1915, about six months after her 15th birthday. Her first son was born Nov 16, 1916, when she was 16. She had six more babies by March 22, 1929, when she gave birth to her seventh child, RL Beasley. Sadly, she developed septicemia and died on April 11, 1929, a day after her 29th birthday, leaving her husband with 7 young children. We don't know much about her - just fleeting memories of a mother's love that her young children remembered - but she was never forgotten.
Henry Lee and Ibah started farming in East Texas and later moved to West Texas looking for better opportunities.
