VALDERS — Mr. George O. Esse, age 84, of Valders, Wisconsin, died April 1, 1982, at the Manitowoc Health Center, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was born on August 24, 1897, to Erick and Anna Esse in the town of Vienna, DeForest, Wisconsin. In 1918, he moved to
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and for many years worked for the A.O. Smith Company. In the early 1930's, he moved to Valders, Wisconsin where he purchased a farm. He lived there until
retiring to the Manitowoc Health Center. Mr. Esse is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Weggert; two sons, the Reverend Robert Esse of Eau Claire, and John L. Esse, a school
principal at Grand Marias, Minnesota; three sisters, Tinka H. Bilsie of DeForest, Ruth Marple of Madison, and Gudrun Kroncke, Arlington; and a brother, John C. Esse of DeForest. He
is also survived by six grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH in Valders, and burial was at the Gierpen Cemetery. Pastors Oscar Twedt and Carl Peters of FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH officiated at the sevices.
