Mrs. Ethel H. Gipple, 74, Columbus Junction, died suddenly at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Morning Sun Manor Nursing Home.
A daughter of William I. and Margaret Jackson Huston, she was born Sept. 13, 1894 at rural Wyman, Iowa. She had lived here many years.
December 2, 1914, Ethel Huston, married Vernon E. Gipple at her parents home. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist church.
Survivors are her husband, Vernon Gipple; one son, Lyle Gipple, Columbus Junction; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Abbott, Columbus Junction; six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be helc Saturday at T:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral home, Columbus Junction. Elder , Brian Adair, will officiate. Burial will be at the Columbus City cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at the. Stacy-Lewis funeral home.
