WINFIELD -- Frank Vincent Gipple, 88, Winfield, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, in Henry county Memorial hospital.
He was born April 2, 1885, in Louisa county, the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Auracher Gipple. He married Franc Hamilton May 27, 1914; she died December 30, 1929. He married Ovoca Watson November 14, 1960. He was a retired farmer, and member of Spring Run Methodist church.
Surviving: The wife; four sons, one stepson, one stepdaughter, 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Spring Run United Methodist church, Reverend James R. Tener; Columbus City cemetery. The body is at Barton-McKasson funeral home in Winfield.
