Clara Augusta (Huebner) Lehner, age 80, a longtime resident of Sebeka, Minn. passed away Thursday, December 14, 1967 at the Wesley Hospital, Wadena, Minn.
Clara was a daughter of Julius and Emma Huebner, born September 24, 1887 in Wisconsin.
On March 28, 1910, she was united in marriage to Godlip Lehner at Sebeka, Minn. eleven children were born to this union.
She lived on a farm north of Nimrod until 1947, when she moved to Sebeka, Minn.
Clara was active in her church, Grace Lutheran, Sebeka, Minn. as long as her health permitted. She was a kind and devoted mother.
Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, namely, Ernest and emery, Sebeka, Minn.; seven daughters, Mrs. Laurence (Selma) Alwin, Sebeka, Mrs. Joseph (Grace) Poncelet, Haysville, Kansas, Mrs. Vernon (Katherine) Seimsen, Duluth, Mrs. Oscar (Clarice) Widell, Wadena, Mrs. Wayne (Mabel) Daniels, Verndale, Mrs. David (Linda) Huttunen, Wadena, and Mrs. Donald (Betty) Vernon, Westfir, Oregon; thirty-three grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Della Brokem, Appleton, Wisconsin; one step-sister, Mrs. Harriet Schulz, Manitowac, Wisc.; other distant relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 18, 1967 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Sebeka, Minn., with Rev. LeRoy Philaya officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Myron Sidlo and Mrs. LeRoy Philaya accompanied by Mrs. W.E. Paurus on the organ. The pallbearers were her grandsons.
Interment was at the Green Hill Cemetery, Sebeka, Minn.
