Anthony L. Hoerner, 78, of 2000 S. Holly Ave. died Tuesday in McKennan Hospital.

Mr. Hoerner was born June 26, 1907, in Bowdle. He married Martha Madden, Dec. 30, 1935, in Bowdle.

He was employed by the J. L. Healy Construction Co. for 40 years and had been a resident of Sioux Falls for the past 27 years.

His wife died Oct. 26, 1968.

He was a member of Christ the King Church and the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Marcie Hoerner of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Thomas (Virginia) Collins, West St. Paul, Minn.; two grandsons; a brother, Leo, Ipswich; and a sister, Mrs. Martin (Anne) Abler, Hoven.

Services will begin at 10 a. m. Saturday in Christ the King Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents; 10 siblings.

Prayers will begin at 7:30 p. m. Friday in Miller Funeral Home.

Memorials may be a Mass or directed to McKennan Hospital.
