Hugh K. Hamm
Hugh K. Hamm, 70, Hanover R.5, died Friday at the Hanover Hospital.
A native of York County, he was born September 22, 1893, a son of the late John and Annie (Klinefelter) Hamm, and was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church of Hanover. He was a manufacturer of brooms.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary March and seven children: Kenneth Hamm, Hanover; Richard Hamm, Hanover; Miss Dorothy Hamm, Orlando, Fla; Mrs. William Schaeffer, Orlando, Fla; Mrs. Helen Yost, Hanover; Mrs. Roland Adams, Wilmington, Del; Mrs. Robert Topper, Pomona, Calif.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and these brothers and sisters; Richard and Walter Hamm, both of New Oxford; Donald Hamm, McSherrystown, and Robert Hamm, Hanover, and by stepbrother, George Hamm, York.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Wetzel Funeral Home, Hanover, with the Rev. Howard Sheely, his pastor,officiating. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
