SCHAEFFER, ANN H., Anna Ruth Schaeffer, 89, of Bradenton, FL, died March 14, 2006 at the Sunny Bower Assisted Living Home. She was born December 17, 1916 in Hanover, PA. She was the daughter of Hugh K. Hamm and Ruth H. Craumer. Her husband Wm Bill Schaeffer died Nov 29, 1977. Ann graduated from nursing school in 1936 in York, PA. She moved to Florida in the early 60's becoming employed by Orlando General Hospital. She retired from Parisian Cleaners in the late 80's. After her retirement she was known as "Miss Ann", the director of the after school program at Pershing Elementary School. She later worked for Isle of Faith United Methodist Church in Jacksonville Beach, FL, working with children until she was 82.
