After an Illness of less than a month, Martin Hacker, prominent Liberty farmer, died at his home there Tuesday night. A severe cold developed into pneumonia and pleurisy, the end coming within a short time after, his conidition never having taken a turn for the better from the time he was stricken.
Deceased was born in the town of Liberty, May 12, 1887, being forty years of age at the time of death, and has made Liberty his home all his life. He was married to Miss. Alvlna Sonnenburg, May 12, 1910, who survive him, along with four children, Elmer, Harold, Sylvia and Lester, and his mother Mrs. Fred Hacker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at one o'clock from the home and at two o'clock from the Ev. Lutheran church at Liberty, Rev, P. Hensel officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty.
