BRAZIL, Ind, Oct 24.---John E. Martin, 70 years old, a farmer residing north of Calcutta on the Parke county line, died last evening at his home. He is survived by the widow, two daughters and a son,: Mrs. Lena O’Hern, Mrs. Mary Walker, Parke county, and John J. Martin, at home; five sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Belle Brown, Brazil; Mrs. Mary Ambrose, Harmony; Mrs. Catherine Chesterfield, Indianapolis; Mrs. Lucinda Thomas, Carbon; Mrs. Rachael Wesley, Terre Haute; Leonard Martin, Kansas, and Henry Martin, of Harmony.
