"Frank Coleman, age 76 years, a native of Wabash Township, died at his home in Perrysville on Friday, Dec. 23, 1944, following an extended illness. The deceased was a son of Henry and Angeline Coleman, pioneer residents of Fountain County and was born Aug. 18, 1886.
He was married to Anna Cadman, who survives together with a family of nine children, seven sons and two daughters. They are: Claude A. Coleman, Paul Irvin Coleman, James H. Coleman, Mont V. Coleman, Bessie H. Anderson, Frank Coleman Jr., Mrs. Grace E. Wilson, Robert A. Coleman, and Donald E. Coleman.
The funeral services were held on Sunday at West Liberty church and burial was made in the church cemetery."
