She was born in Milford, a daughter of Elmer H. and Cora B. Edinger LaFevre .
She was a member of the Frenchtown Ceramics Club.
Mrs. Deremer worked for 20 years as a custodian at the Frenchtown Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband, Frederick Deremer; a daughter, Nancy Benfield of Perkasie, Pa.; a brother, Terry LaFevre of Milford; four sisters, Margaret Schroth and Olive Hampton, both of Milford, Shirley Adams of Riegelsville, Pa., and Jean Crouse of Holland Township, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are set for today at 2 p.m. in the W.E. Johnson Funeral Home, Holland Township. Calling hours are from 1 to 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Frenchtown Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Frenchtown Union Fire Co., Second Street, Frenchtown 08825.
