When Elisha Barnett FALWELL was born in July 1865 in Weimar, Texas, his father, John, was 52 and his mother, Charlotte, was 29. He married Mosella "Ella" Fallwell on September 21, 1889, in Austin, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on November 11, 1906, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 41, and was buried there.

Elisha Barnett "Liege" Fallwell was a son of John Falwell and Charlotte Rebecca Little. Elisha eloped and married his 1st cousin, once removed, Mosella of Waco, Texas. Mosella was the daughter of Elisha Columbus Fallwell, a nephew of Liege's father, John Fallwell. Elisha Columbus Fallwell's father was William H. Fallwell, John's brother.

Liege worked as a bartender and policeman in Waco, Texas before moving to Austin. He was on the Texas City Police Force in Austin for many years. He died in Austin and is buried there in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Gravesite Details

Volunteers have looked for Elisha's headstone and so far no one had found it. Apparently the grave is unmarked.
