MRS. LENA QUARTIER, a resident of Syracuse 30 years, died last night at her home, 200 Greenpoint ave. She was a native of Germany and a member of Friedens Evangelical Church. Surviving the her husband [sic], Herman Quartier; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Liesche; four sisters, Mrs. August Dreiling, Mrs. Charles Hahn, Mrs. Henry Hipkens and Mrs. Raymond Newcomb; a brother, Fred Zacholl; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Frasier Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina st., by the Rev. Ralph Rebman. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
