Renza Ray Jenkins, 75, retired merchant, died Thursday, June 8, 1995, of heart failure at South Panola Community Hospital in Batesville.

Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Hollywood Baptist Church west of Sledge, where he was a member. Rev. Wiley Gann and Rev. Roy Hartsell officiated.

Burial was in Longtown Cemetery east of Crenshaw with Dickens Funeral Home of Batesville in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jenkins was a World War II Army veteran who was born in Calhoun County to the late Andrew Ellis Jenkins and Lizzie Davis Jenkins.

The husband of Jane Bolen Jenkins, he also leaves two sons, Allen Wayne Jenkins of North Little Rock, AR and Charles Ellis Jenkins of Pleasant Grove; a sister, Eunice Landrith of Memphis; two brothers, Winford Jenkins of Winona and Arlis Jenkins of Bruce; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
