Ned E. Hamilton, 86, Coloma, died Thursday Aug. 22, 1996. He was born Jan. 5, 1910 in the township of Richfield, Adams County. He was the son of Frederick and Lizzie Hamilton.
He married Agnes Droste, May 17, 1942.
Ned lived his entire life in Adams County. He went to Pleasant Meadow (Ebert) School in Preston Township. He loved to work in his flower gardens and he believed in planting his farm in shares, 1/3 for the animals, 1/3 for the weather and 1/3 for the family food.
He loved picking berries, eating ice cream and playing cards.
He belonged to the Calvary United Methodist Church of Coloma.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes, sister in laws Violet Hamilton, Wisconsin Rapids and Sarah Wunrow, Arpin, brother in laws Clarence Droste, Wisconsin Rapids, Dairel Droste, Hancock and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was precede in death by his brothers Andrew, Warren and Verne and sisters Louise Payne, Gladys and Ann Lyon, two half brothers Albert, Thomas and half sister, Mary.
Funeral services were held at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship. The Reverend Terry Temanson officiated. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Coloma Corners.
