Louise Belle Payne, 87, of Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wis., died Sunday, May 2, 1988, at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
Services will be on Thursday, May 5, at 11;00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma, Wis. The Rev. James Reiff will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Town of Coloma.
Ms. Payne was born July 18, 1900, in the town of Coloma, Waushara County, Wis., a daughter of Fred and Lizzie Hamilton. She married Erwin Payne on Aug. 25, 1920, in Friendship, Wis.
She and her husband lived in the Town of Richfield in Adams County, Wis., where they farmed and raised their family. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Coloma and active in the Richfield Home makers.
