On July 26, 1929 Violet was united in marriage to Paul Sylvester Frye at Rockford, Illinois. He was born April 16, 1891 in Cazenovia, Richland County, Wisconsin, son of Henry Frye and Lydia Bates. He died June 6, 1968 at Janesville, Rock County, Illinois, aged 77 years, 1 month and 20 days and was buried in the family plot in East Lawn Cemetery. Their two children, both born in Chicago, Ill. were Ida Mae, b. 1 May 1930 & John Emory Fyre, b. 24 Sep 1959.
