Forrest Lawson Brown, son of George Edson Brown and Harriet Lutisha Appleman, was born October 19, 1911 in Vernon County, Wisconsin. He died August 4, 1966 in Kewauskum, Washington County, Wisconsin, aged 54 years, 9 months and 15 days and was buried in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.

On November 23, 1935 Forest was united in marriage to Francisca Orinda Hake in Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin. She was born September 12, 1916 in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, daughter of Orrin Aaron Hake and Emma Rose Freise. She died October 11, 1991 at Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin aged 75 years and 29 days and was buried in Rock River Cemetery at Milton, Wisconsin. Divorced. Their one child was Robert Wayne Brown, b. 13 Jan 1941 at Edgerton, Rock Co., Wis.

On June 12, 1945, Forest was united in marriage to Anna Olbrys. She was born May 14, 1926 and died September 18, 1957 at Kewauskum, Washington County, Wisconsin. Their one child was Karen Ann Brown, b. 25 Aug 1946.

Francisca married again after her divorce from Forest. Her second husband was Carl Splitter.

TOWNSHIP TREASURER, DEPUTY SHERIFF; RITE IS SCHEDULED

Forrest l. Brown, 54, who resided on Kewaskum, R. 2, died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend following an illness of two weeks.

He was born Oct. 19, 1911, in LaFarge, the son of the late George and Harriet Brown. Mr. Brown was a Washington County deputy sheriff for 18 years, a member of the Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputies Association and treasurer of the Town of Kewaskum. He was married to Anne Olbrys who died Sept. 18, 1957.

Survivors include one son, Robert, of Milton Junction; one daughter, Miss Karen Ann Brown, Kewaskum, R. 2; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Rex Addie, Milton, Mrs. Paul Frize, Janesville, and Mrs. Joe Taylor, Rockford, Ill.; and seven brothers, Vilas and Berlie, both of Milton, Carlos of Madison, Merritt, Nestor and Orlin, all of Janesville, and Donald Brown, who is with the U.S. Air Force.

Friends may call at Miller’s Funeral Home in Kewaskum after 4 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, Rev. Frederick Seefeldt will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.

Funeral services for Forrest L. Brown, 54, former Milton area resident, now of Kewaskum, who died Thursday, Aug, 4, in St. Joseph’s Hospital, West Bend, after suffering a heart attack, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, in the Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, with burial in the Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
Mr. Brown, a member of the Washington County sheriff’s department for the past 18 years, was a state game warden for 10 years prior to that.
The son of George and H. Lutitia Appleman Brown, he was born in LaFarge Oct. 19, 1911. He was raised in the Milton area and was a 1931 graduate of Milton Union high school. His wife, the former Ann Olbrys, whom he married at Campbellsport in 1945, died in 1957.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen, at home; a son, Robert of Rockford; two grandchildren; seven brothers, Nestor, Orlin and Merritt, all of Janesville, Berlie and Jack, both of Milton, Carlos of Madison, and Donald of Whitewater, now serving in Thailand; three sisters, Mrs. Madelia Frye of Janesville, Mrs. Rex Addie of Milton, and Mrs. June Taylor of Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Sherrill, and three who died in infancy, and one sister, Ina Hubbard. [Unknown date and Newspaper.]

Survivors include three brothers, Nestor, Orlin and Merritt Brown, and a sister, Mrs. Madelia Frye, all of Janesville.
