Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon for Henry Fricke, who passed away at a Norfolk hospital Saturday of last week. He was taken to the hospital five days before his death. The rites were held at the Federated church with the Rev. J.L. Garland in charge. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.

Henry August Fricke was born August 20, 1884, one of a family of eight children. He grew to manhood on the homestead of his parents west of Winnetoon and assisted in the operation of the farm until the time of his marriage to Miss Alta Elwood on Sept. 18, 1912. One daughter was born to them.

Mr. Fricke had been in poor health for many years and a few weeks ago he and Mrs. Fricke went to California to visit his sisters. He became seriously ill shortly after their return and was taken to the hospital.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Alta, daughter, Mrs. Lavon Neuhaus, grandson, Gary, three sisters, Mrs. John Isaacson, Mrs. John Younger and Miss Emma Fricke, all of Glendale, CA and two brothers, William and Vern of Winnetoon.

Out of town people who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Elwood, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Elwood and Allan of Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Elwood of Batesland, S.D., Mrs. Marie Younger, Glendate, CA and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fricke of Lincoln.
