When Lillian Dorthy Hansen was born on October 21, 1917, in Washington Island, Wisconsin, her father, Jens, was 27 and her mother, Johana, was 27. In 1930, Lillian Hanson was 12 years old and lived in Washington, Wisconsin with her father, mother, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. She was married to James Gethus on August 2 1944. Her death took place on November 17, 2006, in her hometown, at the age of 89.
