Anna Louis White was born Enfield Falls NY and grew up and married William Hymes Teeter in 1912. Subject couple had 17 children, including 3 who died as infants.
All but one of her sons served in the military. She is missed by all of her children and many descendants and those who knew and loved her, particularly me. She instilled pride and courage in others and loved large families. The twinkle in her eyes was evident when she would point to her sons and the photos of them on her dining room wall and point out each and every one of them. She would also explain to me all about my aunts and that one was so small her head could fit into a teacup. To have Grama as a friend and a grandmother was very special.
Her husband was a hardworking man and although they were frugal and old-fashioned, they were a force that pushed their children forward to include grandchildren and many descendants yet. Missing you and Grampa Bill, my dear Gramma. ~ your admiring grandaughter, Laurie.
