JAMES McLAUGHLIN

Monday, May 1, at 3:30 a.m., James McLaughlin, at 601 Ohio Avenue, died of paralysis, at the age of 78. The remains were taken to the Fissel undertaking parlors, the funeral being held from the chapel Tuesday at 1 o'clock, Rev. Judson Brown officiating. The interment was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Four children survive Mr. McLaughlin; A.A. McLaughlin of Chehalis and E.G. McLaughlin of Litell, Mrs. S. G. Broderick of Fall River Kans., and Mrs. Sarah Ungry of Emerson, Ia. Also here are 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. James McLaughlin was born in Athons county, Ohio, in 1833. He moved to Kansas in 1869 and to Lewis county, Wash., in 1890. He was married to Miss Almira D. Springer in 1856 and to them were born 11 children, four of whom are living.
