Mrs. Julia Ann{ Sanders} Grizzell, widow of the late Issac J.Grizzell of McMinnville, age 82 years, died April 16, at Rutherford Hospital after a lingering illness. Mrs. Grizzell was a native of Warren County , the daughter of the late Lavender Pope Sanders and Flora Stiles Sanders. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by five sons, Norman Sanders Grizzell of Warren, Mich., William Harold Grizzell of Salem, Mass., I. J. Grizzell of Winchester,Tenn.,Floyd Merle Grizzell of Oak Ridge,Tenn., and Lloyd Earl Grizzell of Wasco,Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Clark Bowling (Edith Faye), of Murfreesboro with whom she made her home; Mrs. Ward Golden (Flora Jane)of McMinnville, and Mrs. Wilson Womack (Dorothy) of Rock Island; one brother, James Pope (Popie) Sanders of McMinnville; three half-brothers, Homer Sanders of Nashville, Joseph E. Sanders of Nashville, and Wilmer Sanders of Hendersonville ,Tenn., two half sisters, Mrs. Tom (Nadine) Simpson of Old Hickory and Mrs. Peyton (Pauline) Green of McMinnville. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were at Arlington Church of Christ in McMinnville with burial at Mt. View Cemetery. High's Inc. in charge.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Larry Grizzell,Don Golden, Jeff Golden, Jerry Golden, Dwight Grizzell,Rickey Grizzell, LaMar Womack and Merle Grizzell.
