Funeral services for Mrs. W. A. Warren, 68, of Winnfield, the former Sadie Howell, who died Saturday, November 11, 1972, in Virginia Hall Nursing Home were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Judge Thompson and Rev. Robert Gage officiating. Burial was in Liberty Chapel Cemetery near Williana.

Mrs. Warren was born in Bolivar, Tenn., and had resided in Winnfield most of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley A. Warren; four sons, F. J. Warren of Prescott, Ariz., W. B. Warren of Blanchard, and Curtis A. Warren and Jerry W. Warren, of Shreveport; a brother, P. D. Howell of Winnfield; four sisters, Viola [sic Voila] Melton of Packton, Iva Melton of Winnfield, Alma Walton and Grace Rosenblath, both of Shreveport; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers included Thomas Hale, Lynn Melton, Robert Howell, Elon Howell, Johnnie Moore, and Donald Bancroft.
