Funeral services for Carl Stobbe, well known resident of Hall county...will be held Sunday afternoon from the farm home, north of the Stolley state park, and will be private. Rev. A. J. C. Moeller, pastor of Trinity Lutheran church will officiate, with burial at the Grand Island cemetery.
Carl Stobbe was born November 19, 1881, at Steinhude, Germany. Thirty-one years ago he came to America and previous to his coming to Grand Island eleven years ago, had resided in North Loup. On October 8, 1914, at Columbus, he was united in marriage with Miss Paula Wetter.
Surviving are his bereaved widow, one son, Charles, aged 12; three brothers, Adolph, of Grand Island; Ezra, of Wood River; Herman, of North Loup; and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Deich, of Columbus and Miss Helena Stobbe, of Rawlins, Wyo.
