OREGON CITY (Special)--Dale LeRoy Torrance, 86, Oregon City, died Saturday at an Oregon City hospital.
Mr. Torrance was born December 22, 1870 in Oregon City. He resided there most of his life. He was a grandson of Lot Whitcomb, founder of Milwaukie.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Everett Cross, Oregon City, and Mrs. Lena Simons, Portland; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Holman-Hankins-Rilance mortuary in Oregon City. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
