Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from First Baptist Church, New Town, for Sarah Watterberg, 91, who passed away last Friday. Rev. Clarence Miller officiated and interment was in Sanish Riverview Cemetery. Organist was Mrs. Lester Severance, Pianist was Mrs. Dayl Alden and soloist was Mrs. R. J. Dinwoodie. Pallbearers were Glenn Larson, Charles Shobe, Arvid and Howard Bangen, Larry and Steve Goodall.

Sarah Watterberg was born March 1, 1883 in Cass County, Minn. She was reared at Wolverton and Moorhead, Minn. and taught rural schools near Wolverton. In 1917 she moved to Big Bend Township, Mountrail County, south of Sanish. In 1949 she moved to Minot where she had resided until entering the New Town Nursing Home in 1969.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Louise Sullivan of Minot and Mrs. E. B. Larson, Brush Prairie, Wash.
