Josephine Robinson Powell of Richmond, widow of Dr. Hume S. Powell, died March 16, 2003. She is survived by her children, Joy and Scott; and a sister, Jean P. Robinson of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was a member of Mt. Vernon, Commonwealth and Cobbs Hall Chapters of the DAR, the Jamestown Society, the Tuckahoe Woman's Club, and the Women's Auxiliary to the Richmond Dental Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, with the interment to follow in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
