Teresa Bombard, 75, of 138 Ivy Terrace, Tupper Lake, died Friday, December 2,1994 at her home. She was born on October 4, 1919 in Tupper Lake, the daughter of Bazel and Clementine Scanlon LaFave and attended Holy Ghost Academy. She was married to Edward Bombard in 1937 at SL Alphonsus Church. Mr. Bombard died on January 18,1966. Mrs. Bombard was employed by J J. Newberry's as a sales person and retired after 26 years of service. She was a Foster Granparent at Sunmount Developmental Center for the past 11 years and was a member of the St. Aftne Society, Legion of Mary, Catholic Daughters, Court Our Lady of Mercy Chapter 1511, and AARP Chapter 1250. She also served as a Eucharistic minister for St. Alphonsus Church. Mrs. Bombard is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Fischer of Virginia Beach, Va. and Darlenc Clark of Tupper Lake; one son, Marvin Bombard of Tupper Lake; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Daggett and one brother, Raymond LaFave, both of Tupper Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceascd by six brothers and one sister. Calling hours were held on Monday at the Rennell Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was said on Tuesday, December 6 at St. Alphonsus Church with Rev. Donald Manfred officiating. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tupper Lake Emergency Squad.
