JANESVILLE - Forrest H. Arnold, age 90, of 1510 Bobwhite Ln., died at Beloit Health and Rehabilitation Center, on Monday, May 7, 2001. Forrest was born in Johnstown Township, Rock Co., on May 27, 1910, the son of Frank and Thursie (Brown) Arnold. He married Miranda Gregus March 14, 1952. Forrest graduated from Janesville High School in 1932. He was employed as a construction worker for many years and was well known for raising rabbits. He and his wife, Miranda, started the Rabbit Show at the Rock County 4-H Fair. Prior to his retirement, Forrest was employed in the maintenance department at Edgerton Memorial Community Hospital for 5 years. He attended Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church, and was a member of the Moose Lodge #197.

Surviving are his wife, Miranda Arnold of Janesville; 5 children: Forrest (Betty) Arnold, James (Karen) Arnold, both of California, Margaret Hensley, Jean (Doyle) Babcock, both of Arkansas, and Kathryn (Tyron) Singer of Janesville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Forrest was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendlyn Miller; 2 sisters, Elsie Short, and Alice Crabtree; and 4 brothers, George, James, Emmett, and Robert Arnold.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m., May 14, 2001, at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Roy E. Godwin officiation. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Mausoleum.
