MOTHER DIES AT BIRTH OF CHILD
The funeral services of both Mrs. Ed. Truitt and her little infant baby were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Joe Cox, four and one half miles east of Macon, by Rev. G. B. Smith, pastor of the Pearl Street Methodist church.
Mrs. Truitt died at the home of Mrs. Sam Savage yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock after the birth of the little baby, who lived only a few moments.
Deceased came to Macon county a few months ago from Pierce, Mo., and has since resided with Mrs. Joe Cox. She leaves to mourn their death her husband, and two sons, two brothers, Chas. and George Howard of Sparta, Mo.
