He was the son of Charles A. Calvo, Jr., of Columbia. His father was the publisher of the Columbia Register for a number of years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Beulah C. Perkins of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Angie C. Dunavant of Philadelphia, Penn.; four brothers, Donald A. Calvo of Ocala, Fla., Lamar F. Calvo of Washington, D.C., and Phil S. Calvo and A. Talley Calvo, both of Columbia. Interment will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Long Island New York. Phil S. and A. Talley Calvo will leave tonight to attend the funeral services.
