Services for Annie Titchen On April 9th
Services were held Thursday afternoon, April 9th, in the American Lutheran Church for Annie Titchen, who passed away in a North Platte Nursing Home on Monday, April 6.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ehme [sic] Folkers, she was born near Gothenburg on May 22, 1889. She was baptized at an early age and confirmed on March 27, 1904.
On July 3, 1912, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Martin Titchen and the union was blessed with two children.
Surviving her are her daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Edward Power of Gothenburg; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren, her brothers, Heye and Fred Folkers of Gothenburg, her sisters, Mrs. Katherine Fisher of Gothenburg and Mrs. George Ostendorf of Cozad; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The church pastor, Rev. Robert J. Schaff, conducted the services and music was by the American Lutheran Men’s Quartet. Pallbearers were F. F. Rosendahl, Arthur Ostendorf, George Duis, Frank Duis, William Dishman and Lawrence Ehlers. Interment was in Farnam Cemetery.
