Word was received here this week that Chris Brogan, an old time resident of this community, had died in California. He was a brother of Dr. R.A. Brogan, Edward and James Brogan, old time residents here. He was a resident here in the early days, later going to Ft. Scott where he operated a meat market in partners with his brother Ed. He later moved to Wichita where he lived for a number of years before going to California some years ago. He was the last of the original Brogan brothers who made Osage Mission (now St. Paul) their home.
