EDWARD W. FOSS, 72, of Fort Wayne died Monday, July 3, 2006 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the previous owner of Foss Auto Clinic and Tri-State Automotive, retiring in 2000. He taught Automotive Class at Ivy Tech and was a member of Summit City Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Mitzpah Shrine. Survivors include wife, Janet Foss of Fort Wayne; sons, Edward F. (Cindy) Foss of Roanoke, Kim D. (Elizabeth) Foss of Tucson, Ariz, and Scott N. Foss of Dripping Springs, Texas; daughters, Roaxanna E. (Tim) Poertner of Garrett, Laura D. Foss of Fort Wayne, and Sharice R. (Jon) Pinney of Nashville, Ind.; four grandchildren, Matthew Foss, Gabriel Foss, Rachel Foss, and Kyle Foss; ten step-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; brother, John D. Foss of Kent, WA. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel B. Foss and parents. Service is 1 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Rev. Steven Cain officiating. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Shriner's Hospital or Pet Jamboree Rescue Service.
