Mrs. Sparks was born January 28, 1841 at Cedar County, Iowa. She married the late Levi Sparks at Peosta, Iowa, November 8, 1862.
The surviving children are: Mrs. Emily J. Brown; Mrs. Anna Bellinger; Levi Sparks; William Sparks; Edwin Sparks; Hugh Sparks; and Miss Maud Sparks.

FOREST GROVE, OREGON - Jan 1, Mrs. Savilla Jane Sparks, a long time resident of this city died here Sunday. She was born Jan 28, 1841, in Cedar county, Iowa.
She was married to the late Levi Sparks at Peosta, Iowa, November 8, 1862.
The family came to Vancouver, Washington in 1874 and in 1883 moved to a homestead near Banks, Oregon. they came to Forest Grove, in 1890. The funeral was held today at the Christian Church, Rev. O. L. Curtis officiating.
She is survived by the following children: all of Forest Grove: Mrs. Emily J Brown, Mrs. Anna Billinger, Levi Sparks, William Sparks, Edwin Sparks, Hugh Sparks and Miss Maude Sparks.
