Freda J. Acree, 78, of Louisville, IL died September 12, 2005, at North East Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born July 5, 1927 in Clay County, IL the daughter of Thad and Ruth Rinehart Dawkins. She married Hubert J. Acree and he preceded her in death April 30, 1980. She was retired from Fedders, and later was a secretary for CEFS. She was a member of the Louisville Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Gregory, Ronald, Troy, and Kent Acree; four daughters, Cindy Hale, Gina Hupp, Angie Lindsey, and Melody Rice; four brothers, Glen, Frank, Jack, and Max Dawkins; 16 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a son, Steven Acree, and a brother, Darrell Dawkins.
Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home with burial in Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
