Catherine Elizabeth Justine Smith Schultz was the daughter of Wells Lott Smith & Ida May Myers Smith (both buried in Germonds). She married Frank Schultz on 19 August 1908 in Germonds Church. They had the following children: Ida(married Calvin Polhemus); Ferdie (single); Tillie (married Edgar Polhemus); Gladys (stillborn); Rudolph(died 1918 in flu epidemic); Helen married 1) Ralph Werner,2) John Moon)& David (married Ann Kopack)

Catherine J. Schultz

Mrs. Catherine J. Schultz died at her home, New Valley Road, New City, yesterday. She was 63 years old. Surviving are her husband Frank; three daughters, Mrs. Calvin Polhemus, Mrs. Edgar Polhemus, and Mrs. Helen Werner; two sons, Ferdinand and David; seven grandchildren. All are of New City.

Funeral services will be held at the Sniffen Funeral Home, Spring Valley, tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. James L. Hill officiating. Interment will be in Germonds Cemetery.
