Mrs. Josephine (Derosier) Roberts, 77 of 9 Wethered Street, Auburn, died in St. Vincent Hospital, where she was admitted the previous Saturday. She was born in Northborough, the daughter of the late Arthur and Henrietta (Gagnon) Derosier and had lived in Auburn for 35 years.

She leaves her husband, John B. Roberts; a stepmother, Mrs. Jeanne Derosier of Worcester; a son, Mede I. Roberts of Fitchburg; three daughters, Mabel H., wife of Elie Bouchard, Gladys M., wife of J. Henry Perry, and Mrs. Lillian B. Dubrule, all of Auburn; a brother, Amede Derosier of Auburn; a half-brother, Clarence Derosier of Spencer; five sisters, Mrs. Eliza Balthazar of Hudson, Miss Hattie Desrosiers of Auburn, and Mrs. Lillian Howard, Delvina, wife of Edmond Barrell, and Jeannia, wife of Walter Young, all of Worcester; two step-sisters, Lydia, wife of Duffy Champagne of this city, and Eva, wife of George Martin of Spencer; 12 grandchildren and a great-grand-son.

The funeral was held from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond Street, with a high mass in St. Joseph's Church, Stoneville. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.
