Andrew Lackey Dies of Pneumonia

The death of Andrew Lackey occurred Thursday afternoon after an illness of Pneumonia. He was born in Iowa and was 86 years old. Funeral services will be held at the Dunsford Funeral chapel, the time to be announced later. Burial will be made in Branson Cemetery.

Surviving are the widow and these children - Mrs. Clara Ann Dennett, Springfield, Colo.; Hiram D. Lackey of Augusta and George A. Lackey of Springfield, Colo.; Others are a brother, Hiram Lackey of Gordon; half-brothers, Newt Green and Giles Green of Augusta. There are nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Mr. Lackey came to Butler County 53 years ago and was engaged in farming during his life. He was a member of the 100F Lodge.

Funeral services for Andrew Lackey will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Dunsford Chapel.
