Born Aug. 5, 1890, in Roseland, Ill, a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Lubach, he came to Sheboygan County in his youth, settling on a farm near Cedar Grove where he attended rural schools.
He had made hi home in Sheboygan since his marriage to Miss Catherine Vercouteren.
Mr. Lubach was employed by the Milwaukee Electric Co. for 13 years, later worked at the Garton Toy Co., and was a route man for the Sheboygan Falls Creamery Co., prior to his illness. He was a member of Hope Reformed Church.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Carl and George, Sheboygan; five daughters, Mrs. Harold (Elizabeth) Mulder, Plymouth, Mrs. Joseph (Edith) Cykana, Sheboygan, Mrs. Paul (Geraldine) Hagan of Waterford, WI., and Misses Carol and Bernice, at home; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dan De Brall, Appleton, and Mrs. Earl Bandy, Sheboygan and a brother, Henry, Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hope Reformed Church with the Rev. Henry J. Vermeer, pastor, officiating Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapel from Sunday noon until 11 a.m. Monday, and at the church from Monday noon until the hour of services.
