She was born on Aug. 19, 1903, in the town of Charlestown, daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Woelfel) Kolbe.
She was a beautician in the Madison and Baraboo area and worked for the Knauf & Tesch store in Chilton for many years, and since the mid-1950’s she was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, the Mission Society, and the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Alvin Geiser of Chilton; a brother, Herbert Kolbe of Chilton; a niece, Judy (Charles) Zarnoth of New Holstein and several cousins.
Funeral services will be at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fred Peters SDS officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
