Mrs. Kolbe was born in the town of Charlestown March 18, 1887, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erhardt Woelfel, and was married to Frank Kolbe at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Charlestown, on Feb. 4, 1902. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the Mission Society of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilton.
She leaves five children, Sr. M. Thoretta, of Rubicon, Wis., Herbert, Alois and Miss Irene, at home and Mrs. Alvin (Marie) Geiser, Town of Charlestown; one grandchild and one sister, Mrs. John Landua, Medford, Wis.
Mr. Kolbe died July 17, 1926, and one daughter, three brothers and two sisters also preceded Mrs. Kolbe in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home in Chilton and at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery
