Last Monday afternoon, Aug. 28th, the funeral of the late Mrs. W. L. Gordon took place from her home in Brandon, Man. The deceased had been seriously ill for several months and she breathed her last, Saturday, Aug. 26th, in spite of all that the best of medical skill could do for her at the Brandon hospital. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, three daughters and three sons. Mrs. Gordon is a sister of Mrs. Walter Kinshella of this city and lived here about 12 years ago on the old Mathieson farm three miles south of Hallock.
