Paul was a son of Leo & Mary (Baker) Affolter. He served in the Korean War with the US Army and was awarded several citations and a Purple Heart. He married Edna Arden in 1954 and they had 3 children. Paul was an accountant for the People's Ice Company in Coshocton for many years.
