Miss Odellia B. (Muchie) Chatman was born in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee on September 19, 1946 to Mrs. Mary Katherine Chatman and the late Mr. Charles Chatman. She departed this life on Monday, December 24, 1973.

She attended the Metropolitan Schools of Nashville. She was employed by the First American National Bank.

She was a loveable person by all who know her, but she had gone home now and will be missed by her family, co-workers, friends, and neighbors. But this is God's way and his will bust be done.

She is survived by one devoted daughter, Miss Valerie Chatman, devoted mother, Mrs. Mary Katherine Chatman; one brother, Mr. Charles Chatman, III; five sisters, Mrs. Barbara Carter, Mrs. Charlene Bentley, Mrs. Ellen Smith, Mrs. Margaret Chambers, and Mrs. Willie Mai Winston; Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Wilson Taylor; five aunts; Mrs. Clara and Mrs. Eunice Buford, Mrs. Christine and Lillie Taylor, and Mrs. Bessie Shields; four uncles; Neal and Bert Taylor, Willie and Douglas Buford; five brothers-in-law; John Carter, Calvin Bentley, Ernest Smith, Carl Chambers, and John Winston, of Detroit, Michigan; five great aunts; five nieces; five nephews; dear friends, The Bridges Family; a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family Friday, December 28, from 7:00 until 8:00pm at the Johnson's House of Atena. Funeral services immediately following. Dr. James Dennis and Reverend John Perry officiating.

Friends will serve as Pallbearers and Flower Bearers. Interment, Saturday, December 29, at 12:00pm, Garden of St Matthew, Greenwood Cemetery. Johnson's House of Atena, funeral directors. 254-3472.
