Mrs. Martha L. Delsmann, age 82, of 903 N. 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, May 9, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 1994, at Reinbold Pfeffer Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum.
She was born February 19, 1912, at Milwaukee, daughter of the late George C. and Martha (née Carpenter) Wagner. She moved with her family as a child to Francis Creek where she attended St. Anne's Catholic School.
She was married to Jacob Delsmann May 29, 1934, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Francis Creek. He preceded her in death in September of 1983.
She lived in Manitowoc County all of her life moving to the city of Manitowoc in 1984. She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, and a life member of St. James Altar Society, Copperstown[sic].
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Ronald Simpson, Two Rivers; three grandchildren, Paul, Scott and Tiffany; one great-grandson, Tyler, three brothers and two sisters-in-law. Chester and Arlene Wagner, Cooperstown, Eugene Wagner, Francis Creek, Alvin and Norma Wagner, Kewaunee; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lucille R. Cookle, Manitowoc, Grace and Elmer Reinders, New Berlin; nieces, nephews, and numerous foster children surviving.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Sydney, George, Joseph, Arthur and Lewin.
