Gregory Carl Geiser

Gregory Carl Geiser, 73, W2717 Highway E. Chilton, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1987 at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.

Mr. Geiser was born Jan. 20, 1914 in the town of Charlestown, son of the late Frank and Margaret Woelfel Geiser.

He was married April 28, 1937 to Celestine Wagner at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
He farmed in the town of Chilton until his retirement in 1976.
Mr. Geiser was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton, the Catholic Knights Council 194 and St. Joseph’s Society.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Martin (La Verne) Schmidt of Chilton and Mrs. Robert (Janice) Gary of Stevens Point; and four sons and three daughters-in-law, Harold and June of R. 1, Cecil, Allen of Chilton, and Donald and Mary Beth of Chilton; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Heckner of Menasha; a stepsister, Dorothy Woelfel of New Holstein; and two brothers, Clemens and Alois, both of Chilton.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one sister, three stepsisters; three brothers and one stepbrother.

Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Paul Brick, pastor, officiated. Entombment was in Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
Wieting-Schneider Funeral Home, Chilton, took care of arrangements.

Sally married Gregory C. Geiser on April 28, 1937 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. He preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 1987. The couple had farmed in the Town of Chilton until their retirement.
