Mrs. Cecelia Heinzen, 88, of 717 S. 28th St., Manitowoc, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient the past year.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Lake, the Rev. D. F. Hurley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Heinzen was born Cecelia Schuler Oct. 28, 1872, at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late Mathias and Veronica Meyer Schuler. She was married to Anton Heinzen June 20, 1893, at St. Nazianz, and they moved to a farm at School Hill.
They resided there until 1906 when they moved to St. Nazianz and lived there for four years. In 1910 they began operating a farm at Silver Lake, where she resided until her husband's death June 13, 1937.
In that year she moved to Manitowoc. Also preceding her in death were three sons, three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Heinzen was amember of the Christian Mothers Society of St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Hugo Gerharz and Mrs. Erwin Windus of Manitowoc, Mrs. Clarence Klingeisen of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, Mrs. Rose Zima of Green Bay and Miss Loretta Heinzen of Chicago; two sons, Edward of Manitowoc and Norbert of Rt. 4, Manitowoc; a sister,
Mrs. Frank Palacek of Marshfield; 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
